Now that the dust has finally settled around the repercussions of Kristen Stewart's sneaky summer affair with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, and she's successfully won back the heart of then-jilted boyfriend Robert Pattinson, the actress is FINALLY opening up about the intense public backlash she received…and how she's learned to overcome and learn from it!
The 22-year-old Twilight star now explains:
"You have to be OK with your own fears. If you’re an honest person you’ll make mistakes, but that’s when the most interesting things happen. I used to just stay in my hotel room rather than deal with everything, but if you get too caught up in what others think you become a really disjointed person. It’s not a terrible thing if you’re either loved or hated. But honestly, I don’t care ’cause it doesn’t keep me from doing my sh*t. And I apologize to everyone for making them so angry. It was not my intention."
Kinda reminds of the line in Shakespeare's Hamlet, "for there is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so!"
But we're glad to hear that good came from this whole debacle, as she was able to step back and reflect on herself, her decisions, and use the experience to grow and better assert her own identity and how she relates to the public's perception of her!
Glad that you were able to get your groove back, gurl!
Now enjoy the holidays with that seksi, sparkling vampire boyfriend of yours!
