These rumors that Britney Spears and Jason Trawick are heading closer and closer to Splitsville are gaining more and more traction, and making us positively DEVASTATED in its wake!
Reports that surfaced yesterday indicated that the pop star's agent-turned-fiance has apparently told her family, friends, and management team that he plans on officially calling off their engagement after the X Factor finale this week while the couple vacation for the holidays together, but now, we're hearing that while the break-up isn't CERTAIN…this last trip is definitely make-it-or-break-it for them!
Of course, the matters of the heart are only COMPLICATED by the fact they've essentially intermingled their professional lives into one, and are struggling to figure out how to potentially reconcile that if they go their separate ways!
“It’s a make or break holiday for Britney and Jason. Things have been getting worse and worse with their relationship for several months now, and they know they have to figure things out once and for all because they can’t keep going on like this. If they do decide to call off the engagement for good, things are going to be tricky, legally and financially, so it isn’t just the state of their relationship they have to think about. If there wasn't those considerations involved they would of split a while ago. They hope to come to a decision before the new year."

We'd be absolutely SHATTERED to see this fall apart, especially after they've been together so long, and Jason is such a big part of her children's lives!
But honestly, if the only thing holding their relationship together is the difficulties that go with absolving their professional lives, then it's probably for the best that they're ready to examine what's REALLY keeping them together!
So sad, though!
They've both had such a busy autumn and we want to see them HAPPY during the holiday season!

I am not surprised, though. I don't think it has anything to do with Britney being bad. I think she needs to live her life. Yeah - she needs to be watched but let her have a bit of freedom.
