Sandy Hook Shooting Victim's Family Is Victimized AGAIN!

fake website noah pozner sandy hook elementary charity fraud

Uncool. Uncool and absolutely shameless.

Noah Pozner is one of many Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims who was laid to rest this week, but at least one despicable individual doesn't think his family has suffered enough!

A fraudulent website was set up in the boy's name earlier this week, in an attempt to steal money from the heartbroken masses world-wide who thought they could assist the victim's grieving family.

Noah's uncle, Alex Haller, notified the FBI as soon as he stumbled upon the scam website directing donations to an unknown address.

Alex admitted this faux charitable website is added pain for an already stressed family. He said:

"These scammers are taking away from families and the spirits of dead kids."

The mastermind behind this sham isn't immediately known, but Anderson Cooper confronted Noel Alba, a woman who lives at the unknown address, and she denied any involvement.

How a person finds it within themselves to capitalize off any tragedy is beyond us, but… this?! Preying on a family greiving over the senseless murder of a beautiful 6-year-old-boy?!

Diabolical. Contemptible. Disgraceful. Vile. Reprehensible. Immoral. Heinous… Our thesaurus has many words to describe this behavior and we are reluctant to choose just one.

The Pozner family has reclaimed NoahPozner.org and legitimate donations can be made on his behalf.

The media needs to leave these people alone…..let them grieve……and stop using THEM for political gain and POWER

Okay the thieves that are setting up these fake websites are bottom feeders and karma will deal with them. Now, I will say, and I'll likely get ripped a new ahole for this (though it's true) has anyone wondered what on earth these families are doing setting up fundraising websites, especially less than a week after their child has been killed? It appears that most of these families are financially well off enough to pay for a funeral especially in this case when all of the caskets, services etc have been donated. Why? It's just cheap.

Re: shelly – The charities are set up so that the family can then donate to a cause of their choice.

@shelly : a lot of times when families take donations after the death of their loved one it is used either as a donation to some type of foundation the deceased cared about, or to use towards prevention of whatever caused their death. not saying that this is for sure what they are doing but its just a thought. not everything is about financial gain!

Anyone WHO GIVES TO these types of websites without checking them out are just as much to blame for BEING STUPID. DO YOUR HOMEWORK people before you open your wallet. Had people done this, there would be nothing to talk about because no money would have changes hands. Did I mention it is quite easy to find out if they are legit or not? Idiots.

You should double check your facts before you publish your story. Noahpozner.com was the one the scammers had. The real site was built on Noahpozner.org. Your picture is from the legitimate site, which has always been noahpozner.org. Noahpozner.com has since been reclaimed and forwarded to the .org site for the family.

Watermarking this picture is extremely disrespectful. It's not surprising someone obsessed with fame would view an image like this as property.
