Jimmy Kimmel Says Jay Leno Is A Movie Villain Who Cannot Be Killed!

jimmy kimmel insults jay leno jason friday 13th late night dramz

Jimmy Kimmel Live is taking an earlier and more coveted ABC time-slot, but if you think the move would neuter the show's host you are sorely mistaken!

On a conference call to theoretically discuss his new airtime yesterday, Jimmy Kimmel was totes happy to backstab colleague Jay Leno!

Or, more accurately, he called Jay a hatchet-man!

When responding to a question about whether or not Jimmy Fallon should replace Jay on NBC, Mzr. Kimmel said:

"Jay Leno is not going to be able to stay on television forever, and obviously Jimmy Fallon is the heir apparent, and he’s doing a great job, so it makes sense people would talk like this. That said, you can never count Jay out. He seems to pop up just when you think he’s dead — he comes alive and he’s got a hatchet."

We suspect the metaphorical hatchet Kimmel refers to concerns Jay backstabbing both Conan O'Brien and David Letterman during his Tonight Show tenure.

The dog-eat-dog world of late night comedy sure is rough RUFF — Ha!!!

Jimmy Kimmel is a waste of space, get over it already. Conan sucked and he was replaced. If he has so much time to b!tch about Jay he needs to find a hobby.

I love the way everyone twisted the whole Conan thing into being Leno's fault. That whole thing was Conan's fault. Leno never wanted to retire but was being forced into it by Conan refusing to resign to Late Night unless he was guaranteed Leno's show within a specific time period. Conan started it and NBC went with it. Then during the time before Conan taking over the Tonight show his own ratings started falling on Late Night and NBC panicked and gave Leno the earlier show, just in case. Conan failed and they gave Leno back his show. End of story. Making Leno the villain in all of this was and still is stupid.

Why does everyone blame Jay Leno for what NBC did. His show is still number 1 for late night shows. NBC should be on their knees to thank him for not leaving and going to another network, but everyone still talks shit about him

I like Jay Leno but usually cannot stay up late enough to watch him.
If you are in Southern California, he performs most Sundays at the Hermosa Beach Comedy and Magic Club, he likes to try out new routines.
