Katy Perry Contacts Russell Brand! Congratulates Him On 10 Year Sobriety!

Katy Perry went through a lot of heartbreak during her divorce from Russell Brand, but the peppermint princess has since moved on.
And despite those silly-sounding rumors of her hiding from him at restaurants, new reports have surfaced revealing a very sweet communication reunion between the two.
Ten years sober, RustyRockets recently tweeted:
10 years clean today. Thanks for all your messages of love. Thanks @schullerinc for the film. Anyone can get clean, one day at a time.

Knowing how important this was for him, we hear KtP sent her old love an email filled with congratulatory remarks.
"Although they've broken up, Katy knows how important this milestone is for Russell. She wanted to let him know that she was thinking of him and that she was still proud of what he has achieved. She also wanted to drop him the email to wish him a happy 2013 and to let him know that her heart was finally healing."
