Ke$ha's Deleted Die Young Tweet Explained! She Says 'Forced' Really Meant…

Ooo GURL.. you've been facin' a lot of heat this week!

Ever since radio stations started pulling Die Young from their playlists out of respect to Sandy Hook elementary, the storm of controversy has wrapped itself around Ke$ha HARD!!

Having learned the news, she tweeted her mind, saying she totally understood the yanking of her single, and she even confessed she was 'FORCED' to sing the lyrics despite her misgivings about their darker undertones.

She later DELETED the tweet, raising eyebrows among many — especially the conspiracy theorists who questioned the occult symbolism in her music video.

What really struck a chord with us though was a radio interview she did, claiming she stood behind each and every lyric of the 'live in the moment' anthem.

But now she's trying to clarify things with a new message she posted on her website:

"After such a tragic event I was feeling a lot of emotion and sadness when I said I was forced to sing some of the lyrics to Die Young. Forced is not the right word. I did have some concerns about the phrase "die young" in the chorus when we were writing the lyrics especially because so many of my fans are young and that's one reason why I wrote so many versions of this song. But the point of the song is the importance of living every day to the fullest and staying young at heart, and these are things I truly believe."

Hmm…

We're sure many online speculators will maintain their curiosity surrounding the subject, but at least she's making some honest attempts to make it right.

And we respect that.

I'm sure Ke$ha will be very relived to have the respect of a man who not only backtracks, but outright lies to his readers and public on a daily basis just for attention. It's nice to see our priorities after a mass shooting, how we can all come together to lynch pop songs which have nothing to do with the event over doing boring things like discussing gun control, metal illness, and security prevention.

Well that the song is about living the life to the fullest is true. I saw Kesha on an interview in sweden two months ago, and one of the tv hosts was wondering what the song was really about, and she sad something like "Live life to the fullest, you don't know what's gonna happend tommorow.. It's not really about die at a young age ".
The interview has had some parts cut off in it so i couldn't find when she sad so though.

who cares she wrote the song before this happened and the song isn't about killing kids its about enjoying your life everyday like your gonna die tomorrow i don't understand why everyone has the panties in a bunch just get over it no one had a problem with the song before so everyone needs to just shut up about this stupid song! The song and her music sucks nuts anyways. She will be old news by the end of next year.

It's a shame that people are getting upset by thinking Ke$ha is a deep thinker and dissect her silly songs. We need more stories about what's really important, updates and close-ups of her vag sliding out of her outfits at concerts all the time. Please keep THOSE stories and pictorials coming.

Her song gave my the creeps so I never listened to it. I always switched it off. Then I started paying attention since you started posting about stations not playing her song. I saw her video the first time today. Lots of illuminati signs and crosses that were up-side-down. Very creepy. She was forced alright.

Satanic symbols appeared all over her music video for "Die Young"…and when I saw that, it became clear that there was an agenda with the song and the content of its lyrics–as well as the disturbing and sick video. Hopefully, this whole issue has served to shine a light on these satanists like Kesha and Rihanna (see Rihanna and David Guetta's "Who's That Chick" Dark Version music video on YouTube–it has an upside down cross in the video wipe graphics–that is a satanic symbol–meaning anti-christ). BTW, this was a Dorito's tie-in sponsored music video, and they allowed that garbage??? As well, there are others in the music industry doing the same. As for Kesha, I hope that this undermines her new album…and has forever damaged and ended her career.

Re: Zip – grow up just because certain symbols have other meanings then what the artist is using it for doesnt mean anything. if you have nothing nice to say dont say anything at all, thank you.

This media backlash is disgusting. Pull rap songs that talk about guns and shooting, not a POP star using a common phrase .

Ke$ha's is a young woman who sings pop songs. She cannot control societal insanity. In many ways she brings some sanity where it is needed.

Sounds like she's feeling pressure. The word forced probably sells more songs. Meh.
Such is the world these days.

@Quin: This is perverse, and I, nor others have to put-up with it. You come into my home with music and videos through the media, and even commercials…and I don't expect or invite subliminal hate messages being infused in what you are selling as art–ala offenses aimed at my God. If Kesha wants to damn God on her own time, in her personal life, well, she should keep it to herself, however when she, Rihanna(Doritos), David Guetta, Beyonce, Jay-Z, and Lady Gaga are pushing that agenda and symbolism and secreting it in their music and videos, I have a real problem with that. It is like feeding a vegetarian meat hidden in a product that is suppose to be meatless, you have crossed a moral and ethical line having nothing to do with art. If you, meaning one of these weirdos is giving my Lord the finger and using their music and videos to do it, then screw them. They have already damned and removed themselves from The Book of Life via their actions.

Re: Zip – Just out of curiosity I looked up Illumanati on Wiki, sounds like a bunch of losers who existed like centuries ago.
By the way David Guetta is a great musician, had the privilege to see him on Isla Mujeres last time I visited.

  16. 16

    Its just a fucking song….

  17. 17

Explaining the lyrics but not apologizing for the lie? loser!

The artists aren't the ones to worry about as such its the people pulling the strings that have the agenda, although I'm sure some artists are “in the know“. This Ke$ha song is just a song on one level but the symbolism is clear for all to see.open your eyes guys, the whole industry is corrupt and pushing a terrible message through “pop“ songs which in turn, all though may sound far fetched, moulds the mind of the sheeple, in particular the children. BE AWARE OF WHAT YOU LET IN! Peace out
