Justin Bieber Banned From The Philippines?!

| Filed under: Oops!Michael JacksonJustin Bieber

Da Beebz pulled some visual & verbal punches, and the Philippine government is NOT pleased!!

After Philippine boxer Manny Pacquiao experienced defeat at the expert hands of Juan Manuel Marquez on Dec 8th, Justin Bieber quickly took to Instagram and posted a photoshopped pic of Michael Jackson dancing with Manny's falling body.

The photo was accompanied by the caption:

"Pacquiao doing the lean with MJ .. Classic moment."

Bieber's online mockery of Pacquiao — who also serves in the Country's House of Representatives — did not tickle the ribcage of Philippine politicians…

So a few congressmen decided to release a chastising statement, which explains:

"Mr. Bieber should have known that the Hon. Pacquiao has reached his stature as such as a result of sheer hard work, determination and firm belief in God, and despite such stature best exemplifies humility and grace even in defeat."

The statement even suggests Justin publically apologize unless he wants to be declared "persona non grata," meaning he would not be allowed in the country!

Jeeze, poor Beebz!

He was pranked by a 12-year-old boy, he's maintaining a tumultuous relationship with on-again, off-again lover Selena Gomez, was recently made aware of a MURDER plotted against him, and now an entire country is saying he can't come visit?!

Better apologize Justin! Unless you wanna alienate an entire population!

To see the offensive picture that so enraged a nation, mosey on down (below)!

Fillipino Politicians has to be backawards & uneducated.. They're really making a big deal about this? JUst because a stupid boxer from the Philippines got Knocked Out?

I'm filipino as well and i agree that its dumb to get offended by biebers picture, but many filipinos are hardcore supporters of pacquiao. They're very proud of him & from a country where there are many less fortunate, in a way he represents the rise of the underdog and that if you work hard you can achieve your dreams. So although i don't agree, I guess I can understand why they took offense to something like this.

wow really? you can do that? is there anyway we can ban Justin from the United States?

Wait, let me just say, and I am Filipino, this does NOT reflect the sentiments of most filipinos, but just a MINORITY. Its NO BIG DEAL, and just being brought up by onion-skinned politicians who have nothing else better to do. They should be ashamed of themselevs devoting their time to little things like this instead of focusing on their constituents!

Re: Wow – woah. just don't say 'stupid boxer' he's the Philippines Hero. just don't even go there. Even though, i'm a Belieber and i'm Filipino, i have to say i was offended slightly from his posts. Getting banned was something i laughed at because it's pointless, he's just going to post about it on instagram… -__-

For those who are saying that Filipinos are just too sensitive, it's time for you to know the difference between an OPINION and an INSULT.

  12. 12

Re: Meliss – Wow, you call yourself a Filipino? How did you know it's just the sentiment of MINORITY? Have you done a survey for that? Well, it's true that it's no big deal for some, but also, SOME people were hurt. I think that people who are telling bad things about their OWN country should be ashamed MORE. WAY WAY MORE than those "onion-skinned politicians" you were referring to :)

  13. 13

Ridiculous, I don't like bieber but if Pacquiao is a politician that actually cares about his country HE SHOULDN'T care what a pop star thinks and maybe should improve the god awful conditions that his people live in instead! Idiots!

  14. 14

he needs banning from everywhere defeat is not shame not doing ur best or not trying is shame …

Re: perez posse number 777 – Totally off topic, I never read the article, I can't relate to the shit these kids put out, I think they're lame, pathetic excuses for "artists" they try too hard, and end up with so little, and I think I'm cooler than they are (by far), I mean I didn't need a "swagger coach", I AM swagger, BUT "not trying" is not shame if there is a good enough reason not to. Some things ARE impossible. I don't give a shit what anyone says.

  20. Barbie says – reply to this

JB posted the pictures even before Pacman regained his consciousness, nobody had a clue if he's even alive! Even worse, JB's idol, Mayweather, had nothing but good things to say about Pacman. Real mature, Bieber!

The antics of Justin was hilarious, cannot stop laughing. I'm a Filipino fan of his, and those pics aren't offensive at all. It doesn't degrade Filipinos at all, so the Filipino congressman needs to lighten up, and focus on issues that matters to them.

As a Filipino I would not fault Juster Beber for his tactless immature ways. His brain is not yet that developed. He needs more time to grow up.

  30. Mae says – reply to this

    Re: ELI
Where in my post did i say filipinos are stupid? … and i'm not even a bieber fan but thats besides the point. his picture was meant to be a joke and i get that, its the people who make an issue out of this who i find ridiculous

  31. Fubar says – reply to this

People please - I am a Filipino and I took no offense to Bieber's Tweet comment / post mocking Pacquaio. In fact, I almost chocked laughing. I am not a fan of the Biebs but considering he does have a lot of teeny fans out there the Biebs should learn to be a better ROLE MODEL. There is so much bullying, making fun of people in this world and the Biebs immature comments don't help. So Biebs be a better role model and go to "etiquette" school. I am Filipino / Canadian - you are not representing Canada well.

  32. Fubar says – reply to this

I was never a Bieber fan prior to all this and never will. His music does not appeal to me, his public persona is tacky, he doesn't sound educated - if he last for more years kudos to him but man I am sick of hearing his name and music. The kid has no appeal in my opinion

  33. Sebab says – reply to this

You guys should know how long I patiently waited for Justin Bieber and now I see clearly, I'll never be on his concert because he's banned. For normal people, it's not a big deal, but as a Belieber, IT IS. </3 *feel my pain.* Just because he shared his opinion? What about the Filipino Beliebers. Don't be selfish. Every Beliebers deserves to meet Justin, I know you don't know what I'm feeling right now but you don't have to ban him. You hate him? Then don't go to his concert, nobody ask you tho.

  34. filgrabian says – reply to this

I'm not sure why Filipinos overreacts to certain issues like this and what not. I think that just what Filipinos are. Being over protective to their own country and dignity, would never allow others to insult them. Filipinos faced a lot of challenges in life throughout centuries that molded Filipinos personalities today. It's not that Filipinos are so over reacting, immature or stupid, but I think their past history and culture is the one responsible for their behaviors today.

  35. Ku says – reply to this

LOL it would do a Philippines a whole lot of good if he was banned. He's a disrespectful little bitch anyway.

  36. Ella says – reply to this

i'm from philippines and this is ridiculous. It's his opinion tho. why would the government ban him? -.- ahhhh. this is why i'm born in the wrong country.
