It takes a strong person to admit their mistakes.
And we're glad that Lil' Wayne is proving his toughness in the RIGHT way.
The super rapper admits that the one thing he regrets from his life is the message he sent to young folks when he was arrested for the possession of a firearm.
"Before I leave, I want to say you mentioned that in 2010, I was locked up for a weapon. If there was anything I could do in my life that I could ever change, it'd be that. Sandy Hook Elementary, my heart goes out to you."
Wayne wore a white T-shirt with "Sandy Hook Elementary" written on the left side of his chest.
From a performer who tends to never be serious, that was a moving tribute from him.
The man has gained a whole bunch of respect from us, and we hope he continues to serve as a beacon for this important message.
