This is awful!
Here's the whole story (below):
As raw emotion from the Sandy Hook aftermath evolves into a critical reexamination of our laws and culture, individuals and groups are already pointing fingers!
The NRA, for instance, holds the media, Hollywood, and video game companies partially responsible for the horrific shootings. Their solution? Circulate more guns!
“The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. And here's another dirty little truth that the media try their best to conceal: There exists in this country a callous, corrupt and corrupting shadow industry that sells, and sows violence against its own people, through vicious, violent video games with names like Bulletstorm, Grand Theft Auto, Mortal Kombat and Splatterhouse."
Yelling "look over there!" and running for the hills would be an amusingly ineffective tactic, if it weren't for the sobering severity of the tragedy in Newton, CT.
Furthermore, blaming the video game industry for peddling guns to kids is hardly prudent when your association teamed up with Crave Entertainment to sell the game: Gun Club.
It even has the NRA stamp of approval right on the box (above)!
We understand a national conversation about the ridiculousness of owning AR-15s is band for your brand, Wayne, but when you're selling death them's the breaks.
