X Factor: Carly Rose's Family PISSED At LeAnn Rimes! They Think…

| Filed under: Icky Icky PooLeann RimesX Factor

leann rime carly rose x factor

And The Days of LeAnn Rimes' Lives continues…

Following LeAnn's personal lash-out over her X Factor performance with 13-year-old Carly Rose Sonenclar, the little girl's family is saying their peace too!

And they are NOT happy!

Apparently her mother is absolutely 'LIVID' because she feels LeAnn threw Carly Rose under the bus when she said she was 'nervous and had trouble hitting the right notes.'

Though LeAnn is trying to maintain a professional image with her statements and non-statements, it's becoming clearer and clearer that drama just loves to follows this woman.

Not only is she being criticized for the way she's handling this mess, there's still some curiosity as to whether or not she and Brandi Glanville will bump into each other at The Grove one day. LOL!

As you know, Brandi is the Real Housewife who was married to Eddie Cibrian before LeAnn came into the picture. And the situation just isn't pretty. Still!

But amidst the murky drama, one thing is crystal clear — Carly Rose outshined LeAnn, plain and simple.

  1. 1

    LeAnn lacks integrity once again.

  2. 2

I totally disagree. For the first minute of that song Carly sang completely alone and it was not great. It did not even compare to LeAnn's version of the song. Maybe Carly's parents should let her have a normal childhood instead of trying to get rich off of her. LeAnn has been working since she was a kid, so has Britney, so were the Jackson kids - is that what they want for Carly?

  3. 3

IF her family is really PISSED they are too blame. Their little girl is working in the entertainment world. Down deep you wanted her to be successful not just for herself, but for you to. Let's be honest. Your daughter has an opportunity to become a Lindsey Loahan or Taylor Swift. Trust me Taylor Swift has been around questionable people. You have to be attached to your little one if you want her to be in front of the world.

  4. 4

Carly lost steam the final nights. Her song choices or Britney's were not stellar.

Once again a desperately insecure older woman whose talent is waning, tries to grab more limelight. What a shame that she felt the need to try to obviously over-sing the poor young woman. Maybe Leanne needs to get back to rehab to learn how to deal with her personality disorder, she seems to just want to take pieces of everyone else's life. Lesson learned for Carly and her mom, this is what happens to child celebrities that are never raised with ethics or common sense, let alone respect for others.

I agree that Carly sang poorly in the beginning of the song. She is really great at the belting of notes, but lacks a soft side. Also, I found her to be void of emotion and appeared to think she had the win in her bag. I was glad she came in second. Maybe she should eat a huge slice of humble pie.

  9. 9

Parents should keep their children away from the Entertainment industry, until they are 18. Carly seems so fresh and innocent, and she's looking at a possible future, the mess that is LeAnn.

  10. 10

Typical!! The family of this girl is already making excuses for her failure. If she was really "all that" then there would be nothing that LeAnn could have done to cause her to lose! I mean come on! To blame LeAnn is ridiculous!!

  11. fancypants66 says – reply to this

I thought LeAnn sang the song great. Carly is only 13 - she was just so-so. People need to get off hating LeAnn so much. She did a great job. Carly's time will come. The problem is - in this industry, you only get one shot, and this is probably Carly's only shot. If someone doesn't get ahold of her now, you won't hear of her again. And I don't think that is going to happen.

  12. 12

Leann wasn't great and she definitely shouldn't have issued all those statements after the show - which is her main problem not being able to shut up and issue statements -because that makes things just a whole lot worse. However, I agree with the rest of you, showbusiness is no place for a 13-year old child. It's a brutal world where you people like Leann Rimes and Lindsay Lohan, who were child stars, become trainwrecks. Do they really want that for their child?

  13. excuses says – reply to this

Leann is trying to maintain a professional image? How so? Why depict Leann as the victim when everyone can see that she is the aggressor. Drama doesn't follow Leann, Leann creates it. Did you see Leann's tweet? Her fans are even saying that she went on her fan website and blamed the media, yes people like this site who are reporting on this issue. Just like in the Sandy article, Leann and her fans are here posting these comments attacking Carly and her family. It's sad that some media outlets are still depicting Leann as the victim. Look at her timeline. Check out the reviews of her concerts, her fans have always wondered if she was drunk on stage.

  14. 14

who cares, xfactor ratings is down. boohoo

  15. PM2901 says – reply to this

#11 - what are you talking about? This was a 13 year olds "last chance"? Uh, then how do you explain that a 37 year old father of three who was just working in construction two months ago won a $5 million contract on the X-Factor?

  16. 16

The right person won. She has a lifetime of riches ahead of her - very talented, but too young to handle all that goes with it. She needs to grow up and enjoy herself. Tate is running out of time…. he really, really needed it. The way I see it, they're both winners! Very happy for both!

  17. 17

Carly is not a great singer, but when LeAnn came on, I felt like she was saying, this is how you do it kid. And it was awful.

  18. Young Gun says – reply to this

Re: rosebud99 – Your crazy, Carly was flawless , the trouble started with the first sound out of LeAnn mouth …. Blahhhhhhhh This is her official statement …………..BTW

“In my 18 years of performing, I have never been anything but professional onstage. It is a shame that gossip and lies are overshadowing the performance of Carly, a very talented young girl.

And while I have not given any media outlet a quote, if you want one, here it is “It was an amazing opportunity to share this experience with Carly and I know I’ll be watching for her to win tonight.”

  19. 19

Re: Young Gun – Rosebud defends all the home wreckers, not sure why.

  20. 20

but the kid didnt win leeanne …..

  21. 21

Re: Young Gun – She missed the first line of the freaking song! The whole line!!!! (smile)

  22. 22

I like the comments under this post. Most are given as honest opinions rather than those tainted by their hatred for LeAnn Rimes. Carly is talented but she needs to learn to stay connected within the song and not make that faces like she's just performing as a gift to us.

  23. Elienay says – reply to this

Carly chose her, it's her fault ahah.

  24. X Factor Is To Blame says – reply to this

The main one to blame here is X Factor for sabotaging Carly Rose by pairing her with a person with REAL BAD publicity right now, LeAnn Rimes. They obviously didn't want Carly to win because they would otherwise have placed her with a winner like the other two acts were. Placing Carly with a "trainwreck" solidified the horribly manipulative and rigged nature of this show in my mind. They were clearly grooming Tate and threw Carly under the bus by giving her Rimes. And then Rimes through Carly under the bus by blaming her for the unprofessional performance, and now Carly's mother threw Carly under the bus by blaming Rimes and perpetuating bad drama in social media and bringing yet more "bad" publicity to Carly instead of rising above and refusing to "play this sordid game." Carly is the only one not baming anyone! Ultimately though, Rimes had no place in a performance "for the win" as she is so "hated" right now and hardly up to par with her singing and up to par interpersonally. Boo hoo X Factor!

  25. Lilly says – reply to this

LeAnn just needs to go. I never even heard about her until she cheated on her husband with who ever that other guy was. Carly Rose is an amazing singer. LeAnn RUINED the performace.

  26. X Factor Is To Blame 2 says – reply to this

Ultimately it was X Factor producers who stuck Carly with a "trainwreck" obviously to derail her from winning (let's face it, Rimes could not possibly have helped her chances and X Factor is not stupid, they knew it). I will never watch another "talent" show on TV like X Factor or Idol, as hey are manipulative, rigged annoyances that crap all over people for their own gain. And obviously had this competition been about talent and the good overall package of a person, Carly would have won. Instead, sob stories and mediocrity won in the end, not to mention a bunch of alterior motives like trainwrecking and derailing of others for selfish satisfaction and gain. Everyone was a victim here instead of X Factor who started the whole bitter ball rolling. And the worst victim of all was innocent and sweet Carly Rose, a 13-year-old prodigy, the only contestant to thank the audience after each performance, who is too good for it all. Honestly, she is better off without being in the clutches of a filthy X Factor winning prize and contract. Poor Carly Rose, without much of a voice here, well compared to adults. But then, how can she be? She is a child at the whim of others. Boo hoo for all this!

  27. Leanniscrazy says – reply to this

    Re: fancypants66 – Leann?

  28. Renee says – reply to this

Leann Rimes has some serious issues. Google "lunatic leann rimes". Not Carly's problem, or Brandi's.

  29. 29

I read a post somewhere where someone said the reason LeAnn was chosen was because the Carly team wanted to go after country votes (Tate's) and it backfired.

  30. Cyndi says – reply to this

I wish that LeAnn would just go away..like forever..away from the spotlight! I think she threw Carly off in the performance due to LeAnn's weird all over the place singing!

  31. teeter totter says – reply to this

Re: Lilly – Oh I have heard her. Once upon a time we used to have a really good country music station in LA, then they hired this loser who got all political and one day when my husband picked me up from work, I wondered why the heck he was playing rap (which I hate) or hip hop (a little better). Turned out the station had switched that day over to "dance music" so I never listened to it again.

  32. X Factor Is Accountabl says – reply to this

X Factor ALLOWED the pairing with the "high profile tramp." What would Carly know? She is a kid. X Factor threw her under the bus. They knew it would not be a good choice, that Rimes' haters would pounce, and should have stopped it for fairness to Carly. They did not. They did not want her to win.

  33. Why Is Tate Blameless? says – reply to this

Why is everyone defending Tate so much? He is greedy with his sob story all the time and saying he needed the prize and not the others. What does he know? Plus, he was backstage trashing Carly's performance after semi-finals to boost his selfish gain at the expense of a minor. Real mature. Carly was never backstage trashing anyone. This is a talent show, not for greedy sob seekers. Wow! Remember Carly was the only contestant gracious enough to thank the audience after every performance. Tate is not the angel everyone makes him out to be! Show me one time that Carly is seen on film not being respectful, hunble, and graceful (And I don't mean facial expressions of passion during performances that people bash her for); I didn't think so.

  34. 34

Re: Why Is Tate Blameless? – I thought Tate mentioning he "needed" to win versus the others "wanted" to win was not a smart thing to say. I'm sure he lost votes for it. I mean if it's a talent show for only those that *need* it - then only he and Vino would have been allowed on.

I wanted Carly to win probably most but when they announced Tate won - it was a nice moment and a great way to end the season.

  35. Carly Getting Deal? says – reply to this

Examiner says Simon C. will be giving Carly a record deal. Well that is somewhat of a consolation. It better not be a lie after this whole Rimes scandal. This scandal was not good for Carly, and it certainly can't be good for X Factor ratings. Carly getting a deal right away will help ease some of the buzz!

  36. Simon Best to ... says – reply to this

Simon would be best to not change Carly's voice too much in a record deal. We know she wanted to be pop, but they better not take the soul (she said she wanted to put the soul in pop) and bluesy/jazzy/R&B sound out of her voice that fans so loved this year. That's what they did to Melanie Amario, and now Amaro is being marketed as some superficial run-of-the-mill pop techno princess without the beauty of the rich R&B voice everyone fell in love with a year ago (and she is practically a flop remembered only for that). If they do that with Carly she will likely be a flop and fans won't buy and X factor will get bad rap once again.

  37. Best Luck to Rimes says – reply to this

Best of luck to Rimes to get any help she needs.

  38. Who Knew says – reply to this

Who knew many of the droves of Carly Rose Sonenclar fans could turn into Rimes haters and critics. Have they? Seems like it. And it's all X factor's fault!

  39. Carly in 2nd?! says – reply to this

How is it that Carly basically has more youtube hits on her videos than both Tate and 5th together? And she came in second? Something is fishy! X factor up to no good. Bet they just thought Tate would be more marketable so rigged in his favor. Clearly carly has more fans, so it seems.

  40. buttie says – reply to this

In order to win you have to get the most votes its obvious she didn't or people didnt vote that is a reason to she came in second To blame LeAnn is ridiculous And Carly started the song off and then introduced her At this point it was Le Anns moment Carly parents should take a step back and let this child be a child instead of trying to reaps the benefits of her they seem to be a bit over the top They are stage parents and honestly they need to stay out of their daughters dreams cause if they don't they may ruin it for her .I find Carly very nervous and sad on most occasions i am just wondering if the pressure of her parents have done this to her

  41. buttie says – reply to this

Re: rosebud99 – you said it best .its ridiculous the parents place to much pressure on this child to be honest i see carly rose as a very sad child ..i hate stage parents but i guess losing five million just pisses them off honestly its called votes their daughter did get the votes so why blame lee ann she lost they are sore loseres.

  42. Joanna85 says – reply to this

The winner was chosen based on the votes from Wednesday night performances!
The performance on thursday was just for the finale but not for votes because all the votes had already came in the previous night!! So there is no way Leeann couldve effected
The final results. I think both Carly and Tate are awesome, Im
Sure we will be hearing more of Carly, Cmon a 13 yr old with that voice:)

  43. oprah says – reply to this

    Re: Joanna85
    no… it was on wednesday.

  44. excuses says – reply to this

What's ridiculous is that Leann is stil sending her fans to these sites to blame a child. Leann messed up, she just needs to own it. Remember when someone said that Leann is being professional and trying to take the high road? Well she isn't. She is still taunting Brandi and she is using her fan website to talk about the incident that happened Wednesday. She keeps writing blogs on that fan website . So will someone write the truth or will they continue to depict Leann as the victim who is being bullied by everyone? Leann is the bully, she could have let it go, but she took it to a place where the media can't see unless she gives them access. Now we know how a certain media outlet got videos and blogs from that site. Leann gave it to them.

  45. 45

Lee Ann is an old used up hasbeen & a hag. Who cares what this marginally talented homewrecke rthinks of Carly.

  46. Tate Jealous? says – reply to this

Now Tate is out there apparently saying to Yahoo news that the Rimes had nothing to do with Carly’s loss. I beg to differ and agree with a poster that fan tweeters may have been too concerned about drunkenness to vote. I wonder if boo hoo Tate just couldn’t stand that Carly is in the headlines for this Rimes scandal more than he is for the win and wants in. Hmm.

  47. What a Joke This Simon says – reply to this

What a joke the news now says Simon lost a bet to LA that Carly would win. A complete coverup for the fact X Factor is rigged and they threw Carly under the bus with Rimes so she would lose.

  48. RoselynK29 says – reply to this

I agree with the parents, Le Ann had no business guest appearing on this show.
I blame Le Ann who was awful, had no timing, or tune, or talent and since the
voters couldn't blame Rimes Carly Rose was made to pay for it. Sonenclar is
clearly better than Tate the winner of X Factor. It's ok, she doesn't need
this stupid show, she will be like "One Direction" and get signed through
her agent the regular way. She just has too much potential to let it
slip away from her. I know she will not stop until she has become an
    amazing super star recording artist.

  49. 49

yes is why i think simon did it on purpose likely didnt want to drag a 13 year old kid around anywhere

  50. Clark says – reply to this

Re: Joanna85 – Leann and Carly performed on Wednesday before the voting took place. However, I don't think it cost Carly the win. It became a popularity contest not a vote for the most talented. All the talent shows are popularity contests not talent shows. Tate was consistently good. Congrats to him. Carly is a prodigy. She will have her day in the Sun.

  51. 51

Re: rosebud99 – I agree with you. As soon as Carly started singing, I was thinking how weak her voice sounded. I thought LeAnn did great.

  52. Carly and Tate says – reply to this

Carly might have lost her way a little due to the energy of LeAnn coming aboard and all the filth that went along with that and X Factor having no business putting someone with that kind of current reputation on Carly. Boo X Factor games! We'll see how popular Tate turns out to be in record sales. Simon also threw Carly under the bus with his comments on Carly's "Imagine." That song was great; certainly more of a risk with creativity in music making than Tate. And she was perfectly on tone even if it wasn't normal fare (remember Simon was the only judge who did not like it). Tate is creative at most in his ways of drinking beers with the boys, giving sob stories about how the others didn't deserve the prize like him, and sticking his nose in crtiqueing and offering derailing comments on other contestants to media in finals. How about all the times in the finals that Tate was flat and off key? Simon never said a word. Boo! Tate was obviously favored despite his mediocre talent compared to a 13-year-old. His talent was generic run of the mill karaoke copying; sure he had a fine voice, but not enough to warrant his win and the horrible sabotaging of Carly by him and others in the final days. Again, LeAnn with her "trainwreck reputation" of late had no business in a duet for the win. Boo again!

  53. Really? says – reply to this

Re: trinigirl123 – carly isn't a good singer? Umm are you def? She had the best vocals I've heard in a long time!!!!! She's an amazing singer!

Re: Who Knew – hmmmm….I think tate would have won still! Voters felt for him because this is his time…carly is 13 and has all the time in the world:)

  55. Really says – reply to this

Re: Carly in 2nd?! – probably because YouTube is an outlet for the world to use and voters for.X factor were only the United states!!!!

  56. shelby says – reply to this

Re: fancypants66 – Really? I don't know what you were listened to by LeeAnn sucked.

  57. Sandy says – reply to this

If I'm not mistaken, this was the last episode and the votes were in at that time. Carly is young and has a chance to go really far with her voice, however Tate is a great artist and it is his time to excel. Go Tate and good luck Carly, you are wonderful. Merry Christmas

  58. gelle says – reply to this

carly is not a great singer? ARE YOU DEAF? or a person who can't just accept great things happen to people. She is a prodigy.
If you think she is a so-so then there are actually no good singers in the world!
LeAnn was hammered and was a complete embarassment that night!!!!!

  59. Rhea says – reply to this

It"s funny. I watched the finally and thought LeAnn sounded terrible and Carly Rose was so much better. LeAnn's timing was off. It was an embarrassment!
