Just when we thought things couldn't get any worse over on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
But that wasn't the case!
As John Travolta
always never says, "whenever Xenu closes a door, he opens a window… to an intergalactic space cruiser!"
Likewise, AMC renewed The Walking Dead for a fourth season yesterday, but closed the door on their
current former show-runner! Yay!/Aww!
Those saddened to not find an apocalypse outside their window yesterday morning should find comfort in knowing the dead will walk the earth for at least another year!
The network and the exec apparently had differing opinions on which direction to take the show. As is usually the case in matters like these, the dudes holding the checkbook had the last laugh.
Glen isn't bitter, though. Earlier today on Twitter he said:
I've had an amazing experience as showrunner for S3 @walkingdead_amc but it's time to move on. Thank you to all the fans for their support.

Kudos on a classy exit, sir!
Glen will stay intimately involved with post-production for the second half of season three, which begins airing in February.
