Obviously, if she was willing to take her own life in such circumstances, we were of the understanding that this poor woman had a significant degree of personal demons, but this still makes the whole situation all the more tragic.
Jacintha Saldanha took her own life after falling victim to a prank call from two Australian DJs posing as the Royal Family to gain access to a hospitalized Kate Middleton's medical information, and while the two may be facing possible charges for their involvement in the unexpected tragedy, new information has surfaced that suggests that the late nurse had a history of suicide attempts.
Sadly, even though she spent days in an intensive care unit, received psychiatric treatment and anti-depressants, it's obvious that she never truly recovered…especially since she was prepared enough to leave behind three separate notes.
We just hope that everyone still suffering as a result of this unspeakable loss can somehow find peace and move forward, and that any individuals struggling with these kinds of issues, like Jacintha, can gather the strength to fight back and seek out help.
May she R.I.P.
