Saturday Night Live Honors Sandy Hook Shooting Victims
We've seen a lot of sh** go down during the opening of Saturday Night Live, but nothing as beautiful and emotional as this.
With the tragedies of Newtown, Connecticut still heavy on our hearts, SNL chose to begin their show with a performance of Silent Night by the New York City Children's Choir.
The unexpected tribute is just one more of a string of television tributes we have seen in an effort to bring our country together during such a painful time.
The holidays are all about camaraderie and appreciating our loved ones and we especially need to be reminded of that in the wake of the shooting.
Ch-ch-check out the show's special opening (above)!!

My heart breaks for those poor children and families. God bless them so dearly.
Re: pollopicu – Thanks I agree, what a tragedy, and feel so badly for the families, having to put on a brave face for the rest of their children and family.
I hope they get shot.
you know this was on LAST week's episode, right? a little behind on the times…
Re: ParisIsBurning – That's a horrible thing to say.
Re: anon – Just ignore him. People who say shit like that are trying sadly to troll and upset people. You give them a reaction, you give them the attention they seek.
this didn't happen this week this was last week I watched it live.
