This is not OK.
And here we thought it would be so lovely to be around Anne Hathaway!
Guess things are not so pleasant when she has a dark and sad role like Fantine in Les Misérables.
In fact, Anne was so difficult to be around during Les Misérables, she’s lucky her now-hubby Adam Shulman went through with their recent wedding.
Anne recently revealed Adam had a lot to put up with when it came to how filming changed her. She admitted:
“I was a witch. I mean, I was dealing with a lot of darkness and I was starving. So I just wasn't that much fun to be around.”
Talk about getting into a role!
Luckily, Anne realized this wasn’t good for their relationship, and she sent that boy packing from London to the U.S. as she told him:
“I realized I was being really unfair to him and that even though I was in a negative place, I couldn't let it affect our relationship. And also, I needed to go further into that negative place to play my character, and I love him so much that I was like, 'You're making me happy. You're keeping me up and I'm clawing to the sides of my life and I need to fall into a pit and you need to go, honey.’”
Mean fiancé who kicks you out?
Not our ideal relationship, but Adam must really understand what it takes for Anne to deliver her best performance.
He certainly earned her hand in marriage when the two wed in September in Big Sur.
But gurl is going to have to make it up to him…
We're sure she'll come up with something! Wink wink!
