Oh, Piers! You can always crash on our couch!
Yet another online petition surfaced to keep CNN host Piers Morgan out of a particular country — this time the Brits say he isn't welcome back!
Poor guy! He must feel like nobody loves him!
First Americans tried to deport him, and now the UK won't let him return!
We want to keep Piers Morgan in the USA.
There are two very good reasons for this. Firstly, the first amendment.
Second and the more important point. No one in the UK wants him back.
Actually there is a third. It will be hilarious to see how loads of angry Americans react.
This petition still has only a thousand signatures, but over 70,000 petitioners are backing a movement to deport Piers after his recent debate with NRA exec Larry Pratt rubbed them the wrong way.
These petitions may amuse those who support the gun lobby and oppose free speech, but perhaps we need to refocus our attention on the growing epidemic of mass shootings in our nation's schools.
