Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson To Remake Elizabeth Taylor/Richard Burton Classic The Sandpiper!?!

Oh boy! The leash is on!

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are rumored to be sooo in love that they just MUST do another film together.

And apparently it's gonna be an Elizabeth Taylor/Richard Burton remake next!

(Quick. Someone cover Lindsay Lohan's ears!)

Yes.. Robsten is going to become the NEW Liz & Dick… if everything works out, that is.

Reportedly considering 1965's The Sandpiper, Rob's bud says:

"He recognizes there's a certain screen magic when he and Kristen are together. Besides, there's less chance she'll get in trouble again."

See what we meant about the leash? Ha!

And if you don't know what the film's about, prepare yo'selves!

Cuz it's about a school teacher having AN AFFAIR with a single mother. Racy!!

Hope this pans out for ya, lovahs!! We'd just LOVE to see the red carpet for this one!!

I didn't think "The Sandpiper" was such a classic to warrant a remake.

NO just NONONO , don't bring Bella and Edward into that, DISGUSTING

He's already got five movies lined up to make this next year so I HIGHLY doubt there's any merit to this story!

For those who don't see how he is a heart throb-sorry for you!

No friend of RP talks to the press.

shouldn't they be able to ACT? SP was an excellent movie, made so by the talent of the stars. these two turds cannot act themselves out of a wet paper bag. I've never seen ANY of their CRAP. but you can tell by their actions in public they have NOTHING going for them. Brooding angst ridden losers, they should just go on down town, eat some yellows or blues, suck down a couple bottles of ripple and put themselves out of our misery.

These two are the raunchiest, talentless and pretentious actors of this generation and Liz Taylor would be turning around in her grave if these two idiots dared to touch one of her movies.

If this story is true, it is probably because Kristen Stewart's handlers are worried that her star power will go down once Twilight is over. Putting her in a new movie with Robert is a way of securing ticket sales, and keeping her "bankable". Sad if this is the case, because it shows that they don't have much faith in her, post scandal. This would be a case of them cashing in on Robert's star power.

Kristen can be made to look like Elizabeth Taylor a lot easier than Lindsay Lohan. She has beautiful green eyes that will look gorgeous with violet lenses. I love that movie and I think Rob and Kristen will be magic on screen doing it. I hope it hapens

I so hope this isn't true. This man needs to clean break from her and focus on his own career and let her do the same. Gosh, Pattinson move on and succeed by your own talents!!

This is an old story (rumor) that was already debunked, this is not true…Come on Perez.

"The Sandpiper" was one of those depressing dramas from the 60's that I have always tried to avoid. Yuck. Some find such movies appealing, but I am not one of them. I watch movies to be entertained, or at the very least, taught something. It seems that Rob & Kristen have provided quite enough drama from their real lives lately. On the other hand, the "Twihards" would eat up any romantic comedy they were fed by these two and fork over $millions worldwide in the process. I think that would be a much better choice than rehashing a dank, dreary old Liz/Burton film.

Re: ArseLickMcBumJumRe: ArseLickMcBumJum – Its funny everyone thinks Elizabeth Taylor is this classy wonderful actress; she ruined seversl marriages and totaly disgraced the sablnctity of marriage seversl times but you call kristen stewart a whore because at 22 she was caugyt kissing a 40 yearold man in a position of power over her!

Re: megshell – I have never cared for Elizabeth Taylor at all in any way, and certainly never considered her at all classy. The closest I can come to that is RICH. As I stated elsewhere, Kristen and Rob might be appealing in a light romantic comedy and if it catches on, perhaps a series of them. They exist in the middle of a huge artsy-fartsy community that ought to easily find a good vehicle for their joint professional efforts, if that is identified as a goal.
