Beautiful, talented, and philanthropic?

McDreamy is a well rounded chiseled individual!

Patrick Dempsey leads an investment group interested in purchasing a struggling Seattle-based coffee franchise with over 100 nationwide locations.

Tully's Coffee filed for Chapter 11 recently, but the Grey's Anatomy star hopes new ownership and a rebranding can save hundreds of jobs.

In a statement, he said:

“I’m excited about the opportunity to save hundreds of jobs, give back to Seattle and become a larger part of the economic growth and fabric of the community. I’ve always loved this city, and with the purchase of Tully’s Coffee, I plan to spend a lot of time in Seattle and at the stores connecting with the community and growing the Tully’s brand. It looks like Seattle may be my home away from home in the very near future.”

Aww! We love celebrities giving back to their communities!

And we can't wait to wrap our lips around a McDreamy Spice Frappucino with loads and loads of extra cream, LOLz!!

"and a rebranding can save hundreds of jobs." RIGHT,,, does he really believe that ANYONE buys that shit? One reason he is interested and one reason ONLY,,, MONEY. Jobs will not be saved, cost of a cup over way overpriced coffee will go up even more. I have NEVER understood the need to pay $5. or more for a cup of joe. Someone bought me a cup of starfucks, and it was really bad. their roast is not good.

Re: raypearson – Have to agree with you about their coffee. Bought a Coffee Machiato one time and had to go to a client meeting, thought I would climb up the walls, such a sugar high. Their regular coffee is too dark for me.
I do like their iced green tea sweetened with simple syrup though. Try it. Very refreshng,
    like during summer.

Man, this site is full of negative people…

Patrick's a great guy…who really does work hard to give back to the communities and people that gave him his fame. So while I'm sure what money could be made factored into his decision (also sponsorship for his race team) I'm also sure he really does care about saving jobs and keeping a staple alive in Seattle. I think its awesome he's really using his money to do good and help the economy instead of just partying all the time. Proud to be a fan.
