Rainn Wilson's Office Character & Love Interest May Have A Happy Ending!

The Office's Dwight Schrute may not be getting his own show, but that doesn't mean his current character arc has to go out with a whimper.

In fact, according to Dwight's real life boss slash creator Greg Daniels - he may be going out with a bang.

We are unsure if he meant that literally or not.

Here's what he said:

"We’re not going to air exactly what it was, because it has certain aspects that were appropriate for a pilot of a new show. We’re going to shoot a little additional material to make it fit into the season more.”

Rainn Wilson, the actor who plays Dwight, has had a fictional on-again-off-again relationship with the character Angela Martin for basically the entire show. If the spinoff featuring Dwight had materialized the producer said Dwight may have either ended or renewed his relationship with Angela.

What direction are they moving in now, though?

Daniels said:

"We’re into the [latter] scenario.”

Heck yeah!

Our man Dwight is going to get some!
