Cheeky-charming British boyband The Wanted's Nathan Sykes personally connected with a fan whose sister was one of the victims of the horrific Sandy Hook shootings…

By reaching out to her over Twitter!

Carlee Soto, sister of the heroic Vicki Soto who was shot while trying to protect her students, turned 20 on Sunday December 23rd, and Nathan took the initiative to tweet:

"Sending all my love to @ICarlee23 for your birthday! You, Vicki and your family are such an inspiration. Hope you have a lovely day :) xx."

To which Carlee replied:

"@Nathan- TheWanted thank you sooooo much. It means so much to get a tweet from you. I don't need any more gifts cause that made my day."

Nathan THEN offered up a tremendous gift to the birthday lady when he posted:

"@ICarlee23 Next time we are in NYC I have arranged for you to come and hang out with us if you are up for that? Would be lovely to see ya xx."

Carlee, obviously SO thrilled at the prospect of meeting her favorite band, tweeted back:

"@NathanTheWanted I think I just died a little reading this tweet. I would love to meet you whenever your in NY. Thank you so much."

It's so wonderful to witness celebrities taking time to relate to their fans, especially to those fans who are obviously experiencing unfathomable sadness.

SO many hearts for you, Nathan! And all our love and prayers to the grieving families in Newtown, CT.
