The reviews are in, and they are not good!
Anne Hathaway might have won over fans with her Les Miserables performance, but she did not win over herself.
In fact, Anne wasn't at all impressed with her acting skillz as Fantine.
Did she even see the movie because we were totes blown away?
But not little Annie who revealed her less than flattering reaction to the performance of her big song I Dreamed a Dream. She said:
Anne apparently performed the song over 20 times until director Tom Hooper cut her off and used the fourth take which had remained the best.
Luckily, critical Anne agreed with her director and was able to move on from the emotional scene as she commented:
“I was like, 'Fair enough.' I never bettered it.”
That is some majorly harsh criticism on herself.
We hope she has gotten over it because gurl might be picking up a few awards this season for the moving performance.
Guess Anne’s version of “eh” is AH-Mazing for the rest of us!
