Over it.

NBC. TODAY. 30 Rockafeller Center. Matt Lauer. Savannah Guthrie. Even dear old Al Roker.

Ann Curry is over all of it.

She's been betrayed, misled, and even demoted — and now she wants to move on with her life.

Unfortunately, her contract allows NBC to c***block her exit. Thus Ann is reduced to begging for permission from a network that screwed her over more times than she cares to count.

One insider said:

"Ann wants out of her contract, big time. She has formally asked her attorney to explore exit options from the network. However, NBC bosses have indicated they are unwilling to release Ann from the contract."

Oh no!! Is all hope lost?!!

Not quite yet.

The insider continued:

“Ann's lawyer feels that there is a very strong case to be made that NBC has breached terms of the deal because Curry was demoted fromTODAY. Furthermore, Ann has basically been sequestered from appearing on the network. Yes, she has been doing some work that has been assigned to her, but it hasn't been steady."

Come on, NBC! Do the right thing and let this mistreated lady fly wherever she wants her pretty little wings to take her!

Rumor has it she may opt for CNN! Weeeee!

NBC owes it to Ann Curry to let her go. If they want to turn more people off to their network and the Today Show even more than they have they will continue to hold her hostage. If they let her go they will gain some respect for finally doing the right thing . As long as Ann Curry is still with NBC the public will associate her with the whole Today Show fiasco. If they let her go to CNN or who ever wants her they are breaking that association and might get some of their viewers back. It is the best option for all parties involved.

NBC let Ann go she did a good job for you and it is shameful as to how she was treated. GOD doesn't like ugly, you will have to pay for your dirty deed. Let Ann go now.

When my computer was in for repair for a week, I watched GMA and other shows. I have not watched Today in years, boring.
Also I do not watch NBC unless I cannot avoid it for two reasons.
    1. The way they were willing to pay baby killer Casey Anthony for an interview.
    2. Just generally bad programming, including the Today Show.

What will NBC gain to hold Ann Curry back. "God doesn't like ugly." She deserves freedom to go on and have a fulfilling career somewhere else after the way NBC demoted her. I feel she was great in her job. I don't watch TODAY as faithfully as I use to. Iwonder how many other viewers are checking out the other morning shows.
