Miley Cyrus Insists Alcohol Is 'Way More Dangerous' Than Weed! Shares Her New Priorities As An Adult & Artist!
Perhaps Amanda Bynes would have been better off giving Miley Cyrus her bong!
The We Can’t Stop singer interviewed with Rolling Stone magazine for their July 4th issue, and revealed her fairly liberal thoughts on drugs and alcohol.
Given her stoner reputation, we’re not totally surprised. Though, when asked to clarify her penchant for weed, she said:
"You can't ask someone that and expect them to say yes... I did a song with Snoop Dogg called 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,' so people can put it together for themselves."
That sounds fairly straightforward to us. Mileybird then went ahead to state that she thinks there are things much, much worse than a little bit of the green stuff:
"I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana -- people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don't care... I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed."
She added:
"As long as it isn't illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it's legal in the state of California. So I'm happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be."
Well, Miley, marijuana isn’t exactly legal in California unless you have a prescription, so we’re not entirely sure what you mean. But, okay...
As for her transition from Disney teen idol to mature pop star, she said:

Perez do you just post non-stories? From what Russell wrote he just said that the director wanted it more raw rather than super polished singers singing, which makes sense for a movie that has such dramatic and depressing context.
It's like when you write titles like "Chris Martin cheating on Gwenyth with Keira Knightly" and then it's just about him reading a book. Really?
Lambert is an ugly, screeching homo. His opinion is not relevant or insightful. It's not like he's got any real talent.

Raw and real is EXACTLY what it was — actors acting and singing their lines. Not some sweet perfect performance. I agree with Russell and not with Adam, who's an idiot.

Personally, I LOVED the movie and in particular I think that Russell wasn't given nearly enough due for how amazing his performance was and the same goes for the actress that played Eponine. To me they were the two highlights of the movie. It was raw and gritty but that's what made the story such a great adaption
Kudos to Russell for actually shoving Adam's comment in his face!! Learn how to read between the lines Perez. Russell praises the director of the movie and NOT Adam's comment!

I understand what Russell's saying. I think I prefer raw and real to over the top drama diva that could be toned down about ten notches.
This is a very non-story. Russell is just agreeing that it wasn't a certain way but thats how it's supposed to be. I'm glad its raw and real, I wouldn't want to hear any of the songs any other way, 'A Little Fall of Rain' is sung while Eponine is dying, you can't polish that you need the raw emotion like in the show. To be able to act while singing with that power is true talent, I admire anyone that does it well.
of course Russell wouldve liked his vocals sweetened because he sounded shittier than everybody else. Maybe he should ask to go on Glee where they always sweeten the vocals?

Adam just set himself up to be critized if he ever attempts acting. Most successful actors are triple threats. Not every singer is a triple threat. They usually just excel at one thing. Kudos to the entire cast of Les Mis!

THey did this movie as a drama a few years ago with a good cast. Getting ready to go to bed early so will try and look it up tomorrow if I get a chance.
Of course Russell agrees with Adam, he is not dumb and since the movie ad is: MUSICAL, Russell knows that great vocals matter hence he agrees with Adam, except for Anne the rest is so-so and yes, they bring the movie to a lower level.
LES MIZ are noyhing new and all revolves around the music, this was a film to make money, sorry, my feeling is that more will come, jus wait, retro movies done with new actors.
He should have left the play the way it was…perfect voices, just perfect.

Re: Ha! – Adam's comments should never have been said. It's stunningly bad behavior for a performing artist to diss a colleague or competitor. Look at the misbehavior from Charlie Sheen when he was pushed out of "two and a half men": no comments from his colleagues on the show except about wanting to get to work. Nothing about Charlie.
Adam's not behaving very well. If he wants to leave performing and become a critic, he can. But, professionally, he's best keeping his trap shut.
It isn't about him being right or wrong. It's about him dissing other artists.

The movie made my ears bleed. Les Miz, the stage play, is the best musical ever. As for the movie I agree with much of what Adam said especially regarding Hathaway - her acting was brilliant unfortunately my ears needed to hear Elaine Page. After 30 minutes of fingernails going down the black board, I couldn't take any more. The added production values just washed out the story. What the hell were people thinking in casting Jackman and Crowe, it would have made as much sense casting Stallone and Travolta
