Comedian Paul F. Tompkins CRUSHES Adele's Skyfall

Your Reaction?

We know he's supposed to be a comedian and all, but we think his future as a singer is bright, bright, BRIGHT!!!

Paul F. Tompkins surprised his audience during his stand up routine when he brought out the brass and performed a moving rendition of Adele's Skyfall.

Some are claiming this might be even better than the original, but we aren't. We DO think this is a GREAT cover, though.

Ch-ch-check it out by clicking PLAY directly (above) !!!

Re: charliechaplin@ – Well, I'd guess they're laughing because this was in the middle of a stand-up routine and they might not have been expecting him to break out into song; a surprise. Since the clip picks up right at the beginning of the song, we're probably missing some of the context needed to really frame the humor (maybe it's linked to one of his earlier bits in the act, maybe something he said just before, or maybe it's just plain random). That plus the fact that the band casually assembles on the stage seemingly out of nowhere and then dancers suddenly appear! That's probably the bulk of why they're laughing.

Ppl are so weird when they go to a comedy show. They will literally laugh at anything. Check out Leon Else's version of this on youtube. It's phenomenal. I'm not prone to exaggeration. It is better than adele's version!
