Jennifer Hudson Cooking Up Broadway Plans After Smash

Jennifer Hudson Broadway Plans Smash

If she can put up with Simon Cowell, there is nothing Jennifer Hudson can’t do!

And now the Oscar-winning former American Idol contestant has her eyes set on Broadway.

With her run on Smash coming up with the premiere of the second season, Jennifer has been bitten by the Broadway bug.

The superstar singer revealed:

“Doing the show [Smash] has helped me get my feet wet for Broadway. I like to take one step at a time and I feel like this was a huge leap, but a great start into walking into that world, which is something I definitely want to do one day.”

Oh yeah!

And we can’t wait for that day to come.

We’d love to see Jennifer showing off her pipes on the big stage.

But as easy as it looks, Jennifer is well-aware taking on a Broadway role would be no piece of cake as she said:

“It's not easy being on the stage, on Broadway. I take my hat off to those people.”

Well, if anyone can live up to the standards, a former dreamgirl certainly can!

Calling Broadway…someone cast her immediately!

Mehhhh… she still sucks at the singing part. JHUD who??? The only thing the fat bitch is successul at is weight watchers. she won the oscar for her singing, def. not her acting. every role since has flopped or has been shelved. yea, broadway is where all the flops go. it's hard cause you work 5-6 days a week and get paid shit. point blank.
