Holy Effing Shiz!

Ryan Murphy just made us so HOT in television lust, we simply can't contain ourselves!

Teasing us with the theme of Season 3 in last night's episode of American Horror Story, we nearly flew off the couch when the polished hint was presented before us.

Wanna know more about it?? Join in on the fun …AFTER THE JUMP!!!

OMG… that scene! Fan-f**king-tastic!

We hinted at it earlier, but now we can talk about it even more since Ryan has basically confirmed it for all us AHS fans, saying:

"I don't think anything could ever be as dark as the mental health care system in our country. I sorta feel like for the third version I want to do something that’s a little bit more 'evil glamour.' Just something that’s a little bit more… one of the things that I missed this season was I really loved having that Romeo & Juliet youth story with Violet and Tate. I want something like that again and we’re doing something like that in the third season. And we're contemplating shooting the show in a different place. We're contemplating shooting it in a place in the country where true horror has been. We've got lots of delicious plans."

That's right, you horror-obsessed lovahs!! He said EVIL GLAMOUR!!!

We can only imagine what kind of shenanigans he'll wrap for us next year. Maybe some old Tinsel Town legend?? A lil' homage to Jayne Mansfield, maybe??

Whatever he plans, we're ready to break out our finest gloves and tophat!

    Salem

  3. 3

People were pointing out that a lot of the music on the jukebox was from New Orleans… that's definitely somewhere with evil glamour. New Orleans is a creepy place.

this season is losing steam for me. I thought that name game scene was really stupid.

I think it will definitely be witches or voodoo due to the Sister Jude song on the jukebox. Salem and New Orleans would both be great places to set the scene.

I think it is Salem as well. They played "I put a spell on you" in the beginning of the episode and they mentioned Pagans.

It's going to be New Orleans. Ryan Murphy said "dark glamor" and "where true horror has been" and New Orleans is all that.

PEREZ…the location is CAPITOL HILL — WASHINGTON D.C. the record before the name game had a bright red label with bold white letters saying CONGRESS — there isn't any other place that I can think of that, "We're contemplating shooting it in a place in the country where true horror has been." TRUE HORROR…if you want some scary stuff…look at what is going on in CONGRESS right NOW…

Not sure if like….but can't wait.

    Also:

"See Spot Run" (the book) has the characters Dick and Jane which, had a comedy loosely based on the two characters, called "Fun with Dick and Jane" (the remake was with Jim Carrey, released some years back).

In the movie, two people lose their GLAMOROUS and WEALTHY life and sink into poverty, and make up for it by becoming high-class thieves to regain the glamour of their old lives.

Interestingly enough, the movie deals a lot with the lives of glamorous people and economical issues such as the wealth getting wealthier. It also has a lot to do with romance (the husband and the wife, Dick and Jane), and glamour/a life lived well-off. Very good basis for social and economical issues, which we all know Ryan Murphy loooooooveees to tackle.

So, yeah, again. It's probably a government/wealth/riches setting. Probably set/filmed in Washington D.C., New York City, or L.A. (most likely the first two).

    COMMENT PART 1 of 2

It's going to be set in Washington, D.C. or some other governmental office.

    How do we know?

    1) Ryan Murphy would like "glamorous" evil
    2) Ryan Murphy said one would have to be "quick" and "WATCH" to find the clue
    3) "See Spot Run" (the book that Lana used to replace with the confession recording) is about a dog that escaped from an FBI OFFICE (emphasis on FBI)
    4) After the Name Game scene, there's a few second shot of an arbitrary (random!) record spinning saying CONGRESS on it.
    5) Sister Mary Eunice and Monseignor Howard were talking about "corruption" in HIGHER PLACES (government!)

So, yeah. What else is more glamorous than evil from the rich and wealthy? Hell, Murphy could even tackle all the financial issues with today's economy and the 99% Occupation Protests. Also, a type of romance similar to Tate and Violet is most possible in a setting like that, not really in a circus carnival nor a witch trial period.

    So yeah, definitely congress/government.

i would love it if the season sort of took back in the roaring 20's that could have some evil glamour or since they said maybe a country i can think of England back in the late 1800's to early 1900's when jack the ripper was sort of popular, or Paris like around when the catacombs were popular, or Transylvania i can think of a lot more lol

    Re: Kristin

Uhh…how does it NOT count as horror?

Keep in mind that the Season 2 hints in Season 1 pointed ONLY towards a location, and with the small little tidbit of negative energy.

    I don't understand your comment.

I think it's going to be in Washington D.C. The song "The Name Game" was on the album "Shirley Ellis in Action" in 1964 and the album "The Complete Congress" did not come out until 2001. So how would it have been on a record if it didn't come out until 2001? Has to be the clue! :)
