    I was always rooting for Bethenny, so sorry it didn't work out. I do wonder, can she not accept happiness, because she's had so little of it? Sometimes the trick is to know when you're happy, and not look back and regret what you threw away.

    Gurlfriend loves her money, Bethenney stand to make way more money in the future and this is gonna cost her as it is. Gurlfriend is being smart….she's not the type you take home to mom.

    Didn't her estranged mother say this marriage wouldn't last? Sometimes our parents know us better than we know ourselves. Bethenny seems to have serious control issues with everything in her life. This is not healthy and very difficult to be around. She needs to slow down and start appreciating what she has now and enjoy it. She always seems so stressed out to me.

    She is a selfish, money hungry whore who will get what she deserves in life.
    Money will not buy or bring happiness to her.
    She used him for his business savvy and sense to get her company started and then for the sale. She used him for his sperm. He is waaaaaaaay to good for her and will find a sane person who understands and wants a helathy relationship. Only hope he gets what he deserves financially for putting up with her crazy

    Was the divorce his christmas present? I can't believe she wrote a book and said all those things about love etc - what a pile of bs including a huge waste of my time - and I read how boo hoo Bethany was out buying expensive purses over the holidays …boo friggin hoo - while children are going without at that time - seriously effed up - "buck up" Bethany as nobody is going to go easy on you.

    Incorrect - she has marketing savvy not business savvy.
    Big difference.
    She used him for the mechanics, the nuts and bolts how to negotiate and close a deal.

    She is no different than the Kim Kardashian whore who used the institutioon of marriage, the sanctity of marriage for false pretense, nothing more than self promotion.

    Bethany took it a step further, she used marriage as a marketing gimmick but also motherhood.
    Her daughter is the personification of her marketing and promotional skills.

    One day her daughter will grow up and realize she was a commodity. Conceived with pure intentions on her father's side and self promotion and nothing more on her nother's.

    I have noticed this so often: When a person has had an unhappy childhood, he/she longs to create a happy family without knowing how. But once he/she marries a person who *has* had a happy childhood, a big part of that person's appeal, the unhappy-childhood-person often starts to resent his/her partner's parents, siblings, on and on, feeling both jealous and threatened without realizing why. And the next generation of unhappiness begins…

    Her husband was way too enmeshed with his parents. It was nauseating and he used her broken childhood against her. I saw it. she was and is above him intellectually and that never makes a good match. They didn't fit and I saw it from the beginning.

    Re: Kel – That's cruel Kel. Bethenny loves her daughter, and hasn't exploited her for her show or business. This isn't strictly black and white, Jason is a great guy with flaws, and Bethenny is a great person with flaws. Although his parents are lovely, most women would have a hard time with his "over" attachment to his parents. Honestly, I love the guy, but he needs therapy too, because he lost a sibling and became an "only" child.

    Both are in their 40's but still very immature. She is hung up on her childhood and he is hung up on his brother's death. She blames all her disappointments on her childhood and he thinks his life should be devoted to healing his parents heartache over losing their son.
    Their attention should have been on each other, their marriage, and their daughter. I hope Bryn has more positive influences in her life.

    Re: RdRydngHd – Yep, that would be my husband. He had a miserable childhood where their was no birthday parties, xmas gifts, vacations. His dad was never home, his mom couldnt even drive. I had the perfect upbringing with a hands on dad who made our childhood dreams come true. I tried so hard to give that to our kids. Every holiday was ruined. He was so damn bitter. He didnt even want our kids going to college.
