Blood, guts, excorcisms, OH MY!!!!!

To call the new Red Band trailer for Evil Dead spooky would be a SERIOUS understatement. This is just two minutes of straight up craziness!!!!

The gory flick stars Jane Levy as a recovering addict who goes to a remote cabin in the woods with her brother (hottie Shiloh Fernandez) where they discover a Book of the Dead and let's just say sh^% hits the fan!!!

We'll be sure to get a fat teddy bear to squeeze and cry into for its theatrical debut April 12.

why are horror movies so uncreative nowadays? I just find it hard to believe with so many talented scriptwriters/producers/directors in Hollywood, this is the type of horror they can come up with? Gore, blood and monsters throwing up and things growing out of peoples body.

I know special effects have come a long way since the original, but it's just not Evil Dead without Bruce Campbell. He WAS the franchise.

Re: Princess-peach – Actually, look at most of the movies out now. They are just remakes. Johnny Depp is making a career of redoing movies lately

Bleh. It doesn't have the heart of the original, so I'mma pass.

Jeez, I hate horror films, to me a horror film was The Blog (pretty good). When I was in high school the guys always wanted to take the girls to horror flicks at the drive ins (yes we had a lot of them in the 60's in So Cal) in hopes that the girl would throw herself into their arms when she got terrified. I have seen more bad movies than I ever want to see in those days.
This movie looks really gross and violent, at my age I do not need it (in fact I have to close my eyes when they show trailers for these kind of movies). But for those of you who enjoy this genre, hope you have a great time.

Re: Princess-peach – have you ever seen the original? its one of the best horror movies ever made, this is simply a new take and feel of a classic, this is actually a really good looking remake, the horror movie genre is dead, simply, nothing original has come out in the past 5 years and this is a breath of fresh air to be honest, it has a ton of potential, if you watch the original you would understand why it comes off as a very amazing film and remake, and if you have seen it than you are a very unusual creature to not understand this.
