Alex Pettyfer Close To Divergent Role

What about Evan Peters??? Is he completely out? Or is he just not Four material?!
While we have ourselves a tear about that, new reports suggestAlex Pettyfer is ready for a Divergent lifestyle! (F-f-finally! LOL!)
But srsly, I Am Number Four's perfect ten is looking to fill the lead role of Four in the upcoming sci-fi trilogy.
Now, if you're a young actor in this town, this is most definitely the role you are vying for. The flick, in the genre of Twilight and Hunger Games, is poised to be the next big franchise for young and fantasy audiences.
The best-seller based flick could make him an even bigger star, a hope shared by Shailene Woodley, who recently was revealed to be the frontrunner for the female lead, Tris.
It looks like the Magic Mike star will really have to bring some of that magic to his test if he wants to beat the stiff competition!
Also in the running are Jeremy Irvine from War Horse and X-Men: First Class's Lucas Till, who is actually coming in for his second test this week!
Well, we'd tell Alex to break a leg- but those gams are too good to waste!

Shailene Woddley has already been cast as Tris. It's already official. You're a little late to the party. But that's okay.
woodley was confirmed a while ago by the author, and he is not right for the role of four. none of the people listed are really. regardless of their acting abilities, the readers and fans of the novels know that four is a very particular character, and none of these people fit it remotely. woodley doesnt even fit as the main girl, the book just isnt popular enough [ie twilight or the hunger games] to stand on its own merit with relative unknowns as the young main characters, much the way the hunger games did and what the mortal instruments will do, which should really be dubbed the next good fantasy series, as itll be out this summer. the casting for divergent is just very disappointing thus far, and the first draft of the script doesnt help, and will ultimately disappoint loyal book fans.
Shailene Woodley has been confirmed to play Tris. As for Alex Pettyfer as Four, I think he'd be great.
I think he will be great as TOBIAS. I read the books thinking in him as FOUR. I really hope that hr get it.
