Okay, so we have some bad news, folks!

But don't worry! We'll get it out of the way first, so we can get straight to the GOOD stuff!

Although we were super excited to hear that Joseph Gordon-Levitt was in the running for the role of Peter Quill in one of the new Marvel super-hero movies currently being developed, Guardians of the Galaxy, we're sad to report that the actor has bowed out of the casting race due to scheduling conflicts!

Oh, but what scheduling conflicts might THOSE be?!

Only the much-anticipated, long-awaited follow-up to Robert Rodriguez's Sin City, A Dame To Kill For!

That's right!

The super sexy actor will apparently be playing the role of a "a cocky gambler who disguises a darker mission to destroy his most foul enemy at his best game" named Johnny in the adaptation of the Frank Miller graphic novel, which, if you recall from way back when the project first entered development, was said to be geared for Johnny Depp!

Well, HEY!

He is not too shabby a replacement, if we say so, ourselves!

And while we would have loved to see him in a big-budget action-fest, we have a feeling that our beloved JGL will be much for suited for something as dark, gritty, and supremely stylized as a Sin City tale!

Oh MAN! We cannot WAIT for when this drops next October!

How about U?! U excited for A Dame To Kill For's latest casting news?!
