Avert Your Eyes, Musicians! Airline Destroys Priceless Vintage Guitar!!
Oh the musicality!
Dave Schneider had always been able to carry his classic 1965 Gibson ES-335 guitar onto the plane with him before.
But for some undisclosed reason, employees of Delta Airlines told him he would have to check it- even after he offered to buy the instrument its own seat!
There are no words for how devastated the guitarist was when he found this!
Ch-ch-check out the video to see the estimated $2000 worth of damage done to the priceless instrument by a loading dock service elevator!
Music aficionados take heed- what you're about to see is pretty gruesome!
Only after Dave's story started to go viral did Delta Airlines finally return his calls and e-mails in an attempt to be reimbursed.
Of course, some things can never be replaced. Oh, we have to look away!

Re: tempe – 2000 $ worth of DAMAGE. Can't you read ?
Of the working musians I know, ALL OF THEM, fly with hard shell case. They do not depend on the wimp of the airline to let them fly with their instrument. They shell out a couple hundred buck for a bullet proof case that can take the wear and tear of the modern airport.

Re: Morgan Durrant – Having trouble with the link posting - head to blog.delta.com to see. Thanks, guys.
If he was willing to spend the money for another seat for his guitar someone should have accommodated him. If you are willing to spend that kind of money you have something that you want to protect.
Did I really just watch a 30 second trailer to watch a 20 second video?…….wow…..
Apparently, United is just as bad.
