DVDs And Blu-Rays Disappearing Into The Cloud

Are you tired of having to sort through a library of DVDS and Blu-Rays that takes up more space than your entire iTunes library?

Have you thought about turning your entire collection digital?

Well, that's what Best Buy and Wal-Mart are trying to make happen- and right from the comfort of your own home!

Sure, some Wal-Marts have already begun to offer digital conversion in-store, but who wants to leave the house?

Why do they think we watch streaming in the first place? It means never having to put on pants!

Once you sign up, the stores' services will allow you to upload your films into your own digital cloud for a small fee- Best Buy is currently planning $2 for SD and $5 for HD.

That could get pricey depending on the size of your collection, but it might be worth it to be ahead of the game when your grandkids ask you, what's a DVD player?

    I think people will eventually regret not having a physical copy of what you own. I may be old school, but I like having CD's, DVD's, blu-ray's, games, ect… Something I can hold in my hands. I like going to the store and searching for movies. I also, like netflix streaming, but It's not the same as holding a physical copy.

    Re: Jeff – Da fuq? I just got my first BlueRay player! hahah Totally agree with you. Same goes for books. I CAN'T read it on a laptop or tablet.
