It looks like Paris Hilton wasn't the People's Choice after all!
The former Simple Life star had no trouble getting into the People's Choice Awards at the start of the night.
But then, bored as usual, Paris decided to step out of the ceremony for a quickie cigarette with her boytoy River Viiperi.
And security wouldn't let them back in!
Didn't they recognize her??

Sorry, I love awards shows but will not watch this one,as it caters to the lowest class demo, who vote for the big budget movies mostly. I will stay with the Oscars and more recently the Golden Globes.
