Alicia Keys Katy Perry Usher Perform Obama Inauguration

Sounds like President Obama is ringing in his second inauguration with some of the music industry’s HOTTEST stars!!

We previously told you that the Prez would be serenaded by Beyoncé, James Taylor and Kelly Clarkson and now, he’s added even MORE performers to the roster!

Katy Perry, Alicia Keys, Usher and Fun. will be lending their voices during the January 21st celebration in Washington, D.C. and it sounds like a party to us!!!

We mean, how lucky are Malia and Sasha Fierce?!?!

President Obama stated:

"Vice President [Joe] Biden and I are honored to have these wonderfully talented musical artists perform at the Inaugural ceremony. Their music is often at the heart of the American story and speaks to folks across the country."

So AHmazing that the POTUS has such good taste in music!!

As for some more spectacular talent added to the line-up?

Smokey Robinson, the cast of Glee, Marc Anthony, Stevie Wonder and Brad Paisley… just to name a few!

The inaugural events kick off on January 19th, with the official ceremony taking place on the 21st!

Just don't get the appeal with Katy Perry. She's really not that talented. Her and Rihanna get waaaaaaaay more credit than they deserve. Gross.

Explain to me why talentless "STARS" are at the inauguration of any US president EVER?! It is so tasteless I can't even handle it.

I agree with the President. He made some great choices. Not particularly fond of all their music but overall seems like it will be some great entertainment.

Re: meg – He always invites more African Americans than whites! ( Of course Alicia Keyes is gorgeous) but the other 2 are hopefully out of the news before the years over! ( Total waste ) And proof that our government is one sided!

Re: John Mahon – Right because you counted how many white people performed at previous inaugurations? Are you always there making noise at events when few or no African Americans are there? Is your work and friendship network totally racially balanced at all times? When representation is brought up as a subject, you always welcome the discussion and attempt to change it? Or is it only at this one event you might notice a slight ratio difference?
