Perez your writers got it wrong on this one, though Kate isn't a stunning beauty this portrait ages her and seems to accentuate flaws. It is by no means an ugly portrait but why so many wrinkles around her eyes and mouth and rounding her nose it looks like an age progression photo. Btw a portrait is the ultimate airbrush. I would expect her to be gracious though.

This portrait is actually pretty good; there's zero question of who it is, and the object of a portrait is to capture a likeness. This is what the artist did, and did well. If it's not flattering, that's too bad; Kate Middleton is cute, but not a beauty. The artist saw her for what she is, and the representation is largely accurate.
