OMG! Leonardo DiCaprio WAS ROBBED!!!

Well, he probably doesn't mind too much though. At least the award went to one of his co-stars.

Christoph Waltz just walked away with the first award of the night for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture. His work in Django Unchained apparently outshined that of our beloved Leo, as well as the other nominees Alan Arkin, Tommy Lee Jones and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

His sentiments in his speech were sweet … but Leo's face is sweeter!

Maybe next year, love!

He deserved it, even though he should have been nominated for lead actor. Not gonna complain though as he wouldn't have had a chance of winning that.

Christoph deserved the win over Leo IMO.

Christoph absolutely deserved that - he was brilliant; and what an intelligent and articulate actor as well, great thank you speech.

I saw Django earlier today, and there's no doubt that Christopher Waltz deserved to win over Leo. But I agree that he should have been in the lead actor category.

anyone who doesn't think DiCaprio deserved the golden globe and any other can't recognise talent

Sorry, no plans to see this movie, too violent for me and too much use of the N word (yes it may have been common at the time, but over 100 times while I am eating my buttered popcorn, no thanks). That is QTs style I guess and why I have only seen one of his movies.

Christoph deserved this award. He was by far the best actor in this movie. Not saying Leo wasn't fantastic in it as well. There is no STEALING going on.

Christoph was better than Leo in this movie. Leo was great but Christoph was better.
