Has Kylie Minogue Called Her Music Career QUITS?!

NO! NO! NO!

We can't deny that she hasn't given her music career 110% over the course of her 25 years as pop ICON, but the idea that she's decided that she's done all that she can in that medium is simply DEVASTATING!

However, reports have surfaced that Kylie Minogue has decided to give up singing ENTIRELY to focus on acting…and has even split from the man who help jumpstart her into show-business at 19, Terry Blamey!

Insiders claim that the 44-year-old made the difficult decision after tensions escalated between her father and long-term manager due to her label, Parlophone, being sold to Universal, and she felt like going out on a high note!

As they explain:

“Kylie’s decision to stop recording for the time being and part company with Terry has come as a massive shock. Ever since she broke into the charts in the '80s Terry has been the man behind the scenes. But now Kylie is saying she wants to pull back from the pressures that come with a music career. She says she’s determined to devote more time both to herself and to her career as an actress. Kylie used to be a big fish at her former label. She’s now been put into a huge roster of acts at Universal and probably can’t expect the special treatment she was used to. She may be thinking she’s achieved most of what she wants as a pop star.”

Excuse us! We can barely type through the tears!

Thankfully, our beautiful Aussie songstress took to Twitter to deny anything this drastic, and wrote:

And for that, we are ETERNALLY GRATEFUL!

We certainly could understand her wanting to focus on the acting game for a while, given the intensity of her last few tours with very little time for rest inbetween!

But only so long as there's a guarantee that you'll eventually re-visit your sonic roots, gurl!

And SOONER rather than later!
