Howard Stern wants everyone to know he is TOTES a Girls super fan and that the media inappropriately conveyed his Lena Dunham-is-a-fat-camera-hog comments.
In fact, after recently apologizing to the Girls creator on air, he invited Lena to pop by his show…
Which she totally DID!
And while she kept cool as a cucumber, Lena still gave the DJ a verbal wrist slapping for calling her fat.
"Not only am I addicted, but I totally get you. I'm in love with you and your character…So I came in and said to Robin, on the air, ‘I changed my mind. I love the show. And I love Lena and I love what she's doing with it.'
It's not about apologizing, although I want to say I'm a fan of yours…I love you and I think you're terrific."
"I'm a big fan of your particular brand of free speech. . . I'm not that fat, Howard. I don't mean to take major issue with you about this. I'm not super thin, but I'm thin for, like, Detroit!"
To which Howard replied:
"You're not obese or anything."
Lena HIGHlariously responded:
"Howard Stern says I'm 'not obese or anything!'"
Lena has already laughed off Howard's initial assessment of her, her body, and her Golden Globe winning show, and from what we've seen of the young lady, it takes a LOT to phase her…
She regularly gets nakey and f*cks on screen for goodness sake!
