No good deed goes unpunished.
Or at least that is what Sarah Jessica Parker found out when she stepped in at the last minute to play Gloria Steinem in Lovelace, but didn't make the final cut!!
The producers of the film originally were going to end the film in 1984 - a time when Gloria Steinem played a part in the subject of the movie Linda Lovelace's life. But then they decided to end the film in 1980 instead - which meant they didn't need SJP's contributions.
Here's how Amanda Seyfried, who stars as Lovelace, explained it:
"Sarah Jessica Parker was so awesome. Oh my God, I couldn't believe it. I mean, I know she felt bad, she felt really bad, too. And she was really nervous. Gloria Steinem's an icon. [But] she filled her shoes really well."
We really hope the filmmakers release that footage as a bonus on the DVD or something.
We need to see everything and anything that SJP is involved in.
Even if it was never released!!!
