One source claiming to be close to the lovers reveals:

Yes, looks like he needs a bit of dental work, I am going to Mexico in a few months and will get my standard cleaning done there, but looks like he needs maybe a bit more work. I would recommend my dentist (he treated at least 40 other dentists and folks would drive long distances for their work), but unfortunately he had a heart attack and his Dr. made him retire. Darn shame cause Dr. Bob was great and really funny.
