Michelle Barack Obama Inaugural Ball 2013 2

After the ball, it’s the afterparty!

President Barack Obama definitely likes to celebrate… and he brought his celeb friends along to join in the festivities, too!

While we already saw the pics and performances from the Inaugural ball, it seems like the presidential party didn’t stop there!

Following the formal ball, Barack and first lady Michelle Obama hosted ANOTHER party… this time, at the White House!

The party, which had about 300 VIP guests, lasted until 2am, with scene-stealing first daughters, Sasha and Malia, joining in, too!

Celebs like Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys and Brad Paisley — all who performed earlier that day — enjoyed a dessert buffet and danced the night away!

Kelly tweeted:

Just partied at the White House ….I kid you not, Michelle Obama stood up and got the party started ….seriously cool First Lady :)

Other stars, including Kerry Washington, Katy Perry, John Mayer, Eva Longoria, Ashley Judd, Usher and Oprah’s bestie Gayle King all attended the White House party, too!

Katy wrote:

Just left the White House. All other parties from here on out will be judged unless they take place at the White House.

And don’t worry — the first couple’s political pals also helped celebrate, like Bill Clinton, Colin Powell and Madeleine Albright!

As for who provided the sounds for the bash? Eric Benet and Janelle Monae were given the honor, with DJ Cassidy on the 1’s and 2’s!

Sounds like an AHmazing time to be had!!! What a great way to ring in a second term, Prez!

These people are so out of touch with reality it's nauseating.

Re: Jt1260 – I must agree with you. I voted for him twice, but I cannot deny the fact that his celebrity connections and the way the celebs who are close to him constantly brag about their presidential access, is annoying. I'm really over it. Too late I guess. It's his last term, so it's a free for all now. Obama and Hollywood can really rub their love for each other in our faces now. But on election day, the choice was between the President of the United States of Hollywood and having control over my own uterus, so…..

I guess the 2%ers had a great time. I'm also over Beyonce and her 1.8 million dollar earrings.

The last thing I wanted was a President who thought he was a celebrity. HE IS OUR PRESIDENT! He should not be concerned with the likes of entertainment superstars. He should be focused on America's social, economic and financial problems! The ECONOMY is SUCKING, people are SUFFERING. Go party on Obama while your middle class "hope"s for change.

Re: bkil – Sorry you voted for him twice, once was enough for me. I did not agree with all of Romney's positions, and to overturn abortion would take an act of Congress which is not likely to happen anytime soon. Truthfully I really wanted Ron Paul.

Re: Jen – Maybe he's community organizing all the celebrities.
