Lip sync is for singers who have no confidence or their ego is afraid of making an error on a note. She is talented for sure.

I wish they would have got the Marine Choir to sing the Anthem with the Marine Band. Then it would have been sung properly. So sick of divas changing up the anthem. As for whether or not Beyonce faked it - she is a perfectionist, so I wouldn't be surprised if she fakes a lot of her performances to look perfect.

I am disappointed Beyonce didn't sing it LIVE for the actual performance. I think she could have done it and would have done a good job if she had. I'm sorry but at a Presidential inaguration you don't lip sync. If she was unable to perform live she should have let someone else do it. I think the Marine choir would have been a good idea too. The focus was on the star instead of the moment.

Re: rosebud99 – the Marine Choir is an excellent idea. Beyonce probably made a huge contribution to obama's campaign and this was her kick-back. If you pay attention you will see obama operates on kick-backs from hollywood, union, and green energy. in the budget cliff deal, hollywood got HUGE kick-backs.

I think she did the right thing. The last thing that you want is for a national anthem flub at the inauguration of a US President — ANY US President. Singing in that environment could rattle the best of singers. And in response to rosebud, I don't think that she "divaed" the song at all. It was VERY close to a straight rendition (I know she added the extra "the brave" at the end.) It sounded good and it was her voice. She is a perfectionist and did not want some possible error to take the glare off of the day. This is a flap that has no substance. I am not a big fan of her music generally, but she did a GREAT job on the anthem.

Most of the time it's not the artist's decision whether or not to lip sync. It could be the venue, or management, or the label, or the tech crew, etc. There are lots of reasons: health, weather, breathing, sound issues. I could go on all day, but you get the point. I doubt it was her walking into the room and demanding she lip sync the performance.

InTouch magazine reports to have disturbing photographs from inside a party hosted by Amanda Bynes, photos that paint an unfortunate picture for Amanda's current living situation.

The pics reportedly reveal how disheveled her living conditions are, showing Amanda smoking a joint while constantly checking her Twitter feed on top of a bare mattress.

More photos show her applying make-up and dancing with a strange man behind her, who's also shown smoking pot with her.

Photographer Giovanni Arnold was at the party in question, and he says:
