    I don't know who wrote this, but if you ever watched the show, Dan was the only person that could have made sense whatsoever. Every single person watching knew it was going to end up being one of the main cast. Dan is the only character that could end up giving the show closure. Whoever wrote this didn't watch the show.

    Are you fucking kidding me?! I watch the show for 6 years and dan as GG is the most ridiculous plot ever.
    So many plot holes it was ridiculous, yes from pilot, it make sense if he was GG, but we have 6 season in between and if you actually watch it instead of too busy ship war you will see it makes no sense that dan is gossip girl
    If you have no idea how ridiculous this is, just go check tumblr, the whole community laughing and mocking this show

    Re: lildevil7 – To be fair the title says it had a major ending fail, which tells you it is about the ending. You should have been more careful on reading an article about the ending of a show that you didn't want spoiled. What did you think it was going to say?

    I actually agree with MewLover34, I think it makes sense that it was Dan. Who else could it have been? My problem with the show was how everyone reacted to it.

    Gossip Girl wasn't the most grounded show ever, so I think enough logic could have been stretched to make anyone Gossip Girl. I was only disappointed with Dan being GG because the actor's portrayal of Dan bored me throughout the series. I'm a big fan of Kristen Bell though and for me the real ending was her cheeky wink to the audience during her cameo for the finale.

    I'm actually watching it now. I'm on Season 5 currently. I agree there are many times when it doesn't make sense that its Dan.

    watched a wee bit of s6 and the finale. SO glad I quit watching in early s3.
