Ann Curry Not Allowed To Live On NBC?!

Ann Curry NBC Live Interviews Blocked

We were annoyed when we heard NBC might not allow Ann Curry to appear on any other channel for six months after leaving the network.

But are they also going to keep gurl off the air before she's even gone? A source close to the situation says NBC is severely limiting Ann's presence! The source says:

"There’s growing friction because she’s been pushing for live interviews, but NBC will only air her taped interviews, presumably so they can edit them."

But from what we've heard, this is really NBC's loss! Ann is still trying to bring all her resources to the table at her ungrateful network. The source says:

"Ann keeps bringing live interviews to the table. She has great relationships with celebrities who will only sit down with her."

That's right! Celebs like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are on their friend Ann's side in this one!

Sounds like NBC is trying to cut off Ann's nose to spite their own face!

NBC is so f*ed up, or is it Matt Lauer?

From what I have heard, a non-compete clause is pretty standard in many industries, it was when I worked in the telecom industry (more for highly skilled professionals and top salesmen). I have not watched Today in years, when my computer crashed, I watched GMA for a week (along with other shows).

It's probably in the contract. You sign it, you abide by it; unless you can hammer out a deal post contract. That's life.

Check your spelling. It's LEAVE not 'live."
