A Rolls Royce mysteriously crashed into a Fort Lauderdale building early this morning, but who was behind the wheel??
Eyewitnesses believe one of the two passengers was none other than rapper Rick Ross!!
The vehicle crashed after being misfired at with a gun by another car.
Police have asked for the non-injured victims to maintain anonymity in fear for their safety.
Whether or not the passenger is rap royalty, this is a BEYOND SCARY incident and we hope whoever was involved isn't too badly shaken up.

It has been confirmed that Rick Ross was behind the wheel with an unidentified woman in the passenger seat.

If the police wanted the "non-injured victims to maintain anonymity in fear for their safety", what gives Perez Hilton and staff the right to ignore this advise, publish both the car and identify of driver showing disregard for the safety of human beings? No concern for human life and safety? Anything for a story (huh?), sacrificing truth, credibility, responsibility to the public, common sense and decency. Celebrities are humans and several written about here are also US citizens. Freedom of the Press does not include violating a person's right to be safe nor give writers the right to be above or exempt from the law. You and all other Yellow journalism hacks should be sued.

why did Perez Hilton and staff feel that they had the right to disregard this tip for safety and publish both the picture of the car and the driver's name? This is irresponsibile, shows a lack of respect for the police investigation, the people's safety of life and limb, and the further deterioration of your credibility, concern for impact upon the lives of others AND respect for both the celebrities and your reading public. I read what my kids read (with them) and had to explain Freedom of Press, Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Information…and how this article was not the best example of these reedoms. Look up yellow journalism - “Yellow journalism” is the field of reporting non-researched, non-factual information (sprinkled with a few valid details) – which include headlines designed for shock value– for the sole purpose of driving traffic to a publication or website; any journalism that treats news in an unprofessional or unethical fashion. It's all about making money, without concern about the potential harm done to others.
