Penny Marshall says that Bruce Willis literally screwed Demi Moore out of the part that ended up going to Geena Davis because Demi got knocked up with her second kid during casting!

Apparently Demi was her first choice for A League of Their Own — so we could've seen a much different take on the iconic role!

Here's what Penny said:

“Demi Moore I like, but by the time we came around, she was pregnant. So, Bruce [Willis] literally screwed her out of the part.”

LOLz!!

According to Penny, though, it was a rigorous tryout anyway, so there was NO WAY she was about to let a preggers Demi try:

“There was a big tryout where they were judged on running, catching, hitting. Throwing is always the hardest for girls because they throw differently. But I would not read — and really good — actresses unless they could play ball, or were trainable.”

Sounds IN-TENSE!

We can't imagine anyone else being in that role, so in the end, count us as some of the folks Geena landed it! She did such a fab job!!

Plus, in the end Demi… we suppose things work out anyway!! Ha!

WOW ! You mean at one time, someone ACTUALLY wanted to f*ck Demi Whore ? ? ? That was a LONG time ago. She is SO old, she doesn't leave fingerprints. And, she has had SO many facelifts, that when she takes a sh*t, she has to wipe behind her neck ! ! !

I get that Penny didn't want a pregnant Demi Moore to play the part, but why place any blame? I bet Demi is happy with the results and would rather have Scout than any movie role.

Who cares about this now? Nobody. Besides, Moore was already established in the business so this role would not have made or broken her. Marshall just wants to get her name out there in the news.

What the hell was the point of this article, I watch this movie everytime it comes on, it was a great movie, even though I can't stand some of the lib actors politics. Penny Marshall needs to get a real life, if that is even possible, all that said, I'll give Penny credit for directing/producing a wonderful movie.

This movie would of sucked if pencil fac was in it and there is no way she would of convinced the viewers.
Geena Davis did a awsome job on the movie .Geena Davis and Tom Hanks made that movie.Madonna was ok…… So pennny go have another huge donut bar and shut your huge arogant flap…it is sagging now so try to be silent

Well, that's good that it happened the way it did. As it is, I've lost count of how many times I've seen the movie. If Demi Moore had been in it, I wouldn't have watched it at all.
