The remake of Annie is really happening, but maybe not as we had originally envisioned it.
Unfortunately, while we wanted to see Annie whip her hair back and forth, Willow Smith — who was originally set to star in the Sony adaptation— is no longer attached to the project.
However, the flick will still have PLENTY of star power with the help of producers Jay-Z, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Will Smith. It is also now set to be directed by Easy A and Friends With Benefits filmmaker Will Gluck
As they say, the show must go on!

The Smith kids are horrible. They are really ugly and so desperate for attention and fame. I kinda feel sad for them, that incredible attention seeking must have a reason. I just wished they stopped trying to ruin everything they touch. Worst part is that Willow Smith said she wants to be more famous than Gaga and just because she likes the idea of everybody knowing her… she didnt even say she wanted people to know her music cause had something to say or cause she enjoyed acting.
