Actually, you probably weren't thinking that, because this ah-mazing confluence of events is totally unprecedented!

Green Day, however, always rocks outside the box!!

Need proof?

Ch-ch-check the trailer for Broadway Idiot (above), a film featured at SXSW this year!

American Idiot was a sweeter-than-sweet-berry-wine album; we can't wait to see exactly how the band reworked their art for the stage!

Green Day is the best band ever!! The musical was awesome as f**k even though Billie wasn't in it when I watched!

The musical is great. It brought a lot of raw emotion to the songs, which really expanded the characters and storyline that already existed in the album alone. The way Tom Kitt re-worked the songs is amazing. He made them so much more epic by adding different instruments, female vocalists, backing vocals, everything. I really hope that the movie does it justice. And Billie Joe was surprisingly great in the show himself, too. I honestly didn't expect it. I mean, I knew he could perform in general, but he brought so much life to the character through his insanely expressive face, and he added a lot of humor and sexuality to it.

Oh man I can't wait to see this. It's gonna be freaking epic that's for sure.
I went to the play and sadly bj wasn't there but the rest of the cast was and, that play was epic. And the audience that it attracted was pretty awesome. "let's just say 2 different blue hairs came to see it" *quote from billie joe"
