    Sarah Hyland and Joel McHale's comments were cute. As for the rest, I wonder how many of their comments were skewed by how powerful Beyonce and Jay-Z are in the industry? 'Cause really? It was a rehashed performance designed simply to show how hot Beyonce is. Pure vanity.

    First of all, I am a fan of Beyonce.
    But, her performance was okay. it wasn't good, just okay. People are making it seem like her performance was the cure for the common cold. It was just - okay. Same songs, and the other two girls from DC microphones were off. Too much hair flip and bootyshaking, little "real" dance moves. As well, it seems like she wasn't fully present….or it missed a je ne sais quoi.
    Madonna's was better. MJ was the best.

    Bounce's bumping and grinding in front of kids is entertainment? It's slutty, just like America's culture has become. And I couldn't understand a single word she sang — screaming and yelling would be more accurate. The NFL needs to get back to having legitimate entertainers at halftime.

    Whoever is responsible for the SB entertainment(?) needs to be fired. Get someone in there that knows what they are doing; not a has-been stripper wannabe. Beyonce receives an F in this category. Sad day for America's sport industry…

    I don't get why ppl are going ape shit over this performance. Would someone explain to me the incredible, earth-shaking part? Sure Beyonce bumps and grinds all over the stage, and that takes energy, but the music? A repetitive sameness that was beyond boring. Maybe it was the fireworks and special effects everyone is applauding.

    As of late, Beyonce is like that relative who overstays their welcome. I've seen way too much of her. She needs to go take some time to be with her child.

    The shame of it is, she has an incredible voice. But her vocal gymnastics (ie using 20 notes to sing one syllable), near yelling, repetitive chanting made for unintelligible lyrics. Actually, there was one song that I understood the lyrics-and yes, they were as numbingly nondescript as the worst pop song can be. There is no doubt this was an eye-popping show–full of special effects. But Beyonce's "performance" was basically her changing from one provocative pose to another with a few bumps and grinds and booty shaking along the way. The one bright moment was actually when Destiny's Child in full appeared on stage and we were at least treated to some beautiful harmonies. This may have been the best Super Bowl half time in a few years–but that isn't saying much-the bar is so low. I'd have to push WAY back to 2001–the National Anthem by the Backstreet Boys (even with one of their mics going out proving they weren't lipsyncing!) and the half time with Aerosmith, nsync and Britney to say I've enjoyed half time.

    That's the type of reaction I was getting all night and all day today by many and most were not celebrities. Only when I came on here did I feel the hate. The only thing I didn't like about the night, was that gross ass Go Daddy commercial with the kissing.
