Oprah Winfrey is known for her magnanimity and generosity of spirit. Over the years we've seen her give makeovers, cars, TV shows…
But according to one former employee of OWN, one thing the company didn't give was time.
Carolyn Hommel is suing the TV network, saying they "temporarily" replaced her as the senior director of scheduling and acquisitions when she took maternity leave.
But then when she came back she found herself "laid off" and the temp in the position she wanted!
And what's worse, Carolyn says there were suddenly falsehoods and fabrications in her performance review that kept her from getting a different job at the company!
Carolyn is suing for both sex and disability discrimination, saying she was unlawfully fired only because she got pregnant!
We sure hope this isn't true! How could someone as generous as Oprah ever pull this on an employee? There's no way she could have knOWN, right? Of course not!
If we know O, she's going to get to the bottom of this right-quick and ensure the truth is revealed!
