By the time she was 24, Carpenter was already famous, having released more than a dozen hit records with her brother Richard. She died 30 years ago Monday at age 32, and her legacy as one-half of the singing duo The Carpenters remains a source of disagreement.
Though some staunch fans still support the scandalized family, the general consensus is that the show should be OFF the air. The cry for its removal became even more intense when the network decided to air a marathon featuring Josh in a positive light.
As of now, TLC's website shows no evidence of the series in its upcoming programming, which is NOT a good sign. While the network hasn't made an "official" decision about the show's fate, it's obvious they're headed in a certain direction...
